In large bowl with electric mixer on high speed Cream butter until fluffy, beat in sugar in 3 additions beating for 2 mins between each. Beat in egg and vanilla until well blended Sift together flour, salt and baking powder Mix on low speed or with wooden spoon until well blended Scrape dough onto floured work surface divide into 2 parts. (refrigerate for 2 hours if you have time) If not, add flour until manageable and roll out and cut cool shapes. Bake at 350°F for 10 mins cool Frost then eat!
